ABOUT GEARHART BOOKKEEPING
Bookkeeping for pet businesses that want more than reports.
We help pet business owners turn their bookkeeping into something they can actually understand and use— so decisions about pricing, hiring, cash flow, owner pay, and growth feel clearer and more confident.
Our goal is simple: help you understand what’s going on, make a plan, and feel more in control of your business.
We’re not here to overwhelm you with accounting jargon or make you feel like you’re behind. We’re here to help you see what’s really going on in your business so you can make decisions with clarity instead of guesswork.
At Gearhart Bookkeeping, we go beyond basic reports. We help pet business owners understand the story behind their numbers and what those numbers mean for day-to-day decisions and long-term growth.
Our Team
FOUNDER & CEO
Virginia Gearhart
Virginia founded Gearhart Bookkeeping to help pet business owners better understand their numbers and make more confident financial decisions.
As a lifelong animal lover, working with pet businesses felt like a natural fit. She understands the unique challenges that come with balancing clients, staff, animals, schedules, inventory, and growth—all while trying to keep cash flow steady and predictable.
Virginia's passion is helping business owners turn financial information into practical insight so they can feel more organized, informed, and in control of their business.
When she's not helping clients, she's busy being a wife, mom of three boys, and dog mom to four energetic members of the Gearhart household.
